I love working at the Counseling Associates. I don’t have to worry about any productivity goals that get in the way of client treatment. There is an amazing work/life balance where I can create my own hours and work schedule. I’ve been able to receive additional training and a certification in Perinatal Mental Health. There is support for cases, collaboration, and billing for insurance is taken care of for you. It is an amazing mixture of support and autonomy. I feel that I am thriving off being able to focus my time on the work I do with clients and there is such diversity within my caseload that you get such a variety of clinical work. I am honored to dive deeper into clinical work with clients to see their progress reflected in the work we do together.

I came from private practice into Counseling Associates having never joined a group practice. My experience in the last ten years with Counseling Associates have made me wish I had joined a long time ago. Counseling Associates lifted so many burdens on my time - rent, phone, internet, and particularly billing, the greatest time sink of all. Now I just complete a simple form and the billing people do all the rest. Plus I have a community of caring and knowledgeable professionals. Since our move to new facilities in January 2022, we have a wonderful space fully covid-ready and handicapped accessible. I cannot imagine a more supportive environment in which to practice.

Working at Counseling Associates of MA & NH has allowed me the flexibility to work the hours that fit my needs as well as engage with the population of clients that I chose. It’s a small office where we are allowed the autonomy to work independently, while still having the support of colleagues.
